J's Marine Engine Service's seminars are our detailed and informative, one-day classes on the topics of safe marine diesel engine operation, regular routine maintenance, and the troubleshooting of common mechanical and electrical-related vessel problems.
Our seminars provide the boater with knowledge on the mechanism and required upkeep of 4-stroke marine diesel engines and generators, the priciple operations of transmissions, battery systems and battery maintanace, safe maintance and operation of fuel systems, engine exhaust, oil systems, and cooling on both motorvessels and sailboats.
In addition to the subjects discussed, the seminar includes hands-on exhibits, including a complete, operational 4-stroke diesel engine, three-state transmission, heat exchangers, water pumps, and other components which are of vital knowledge to the smart boater.
Our seminars also include distribution of our very own detailed articles on vessel maintance, battery systems and upkeep, and the principles of the marine diesel engine. Coffee and refreshments are provided during the seminar.
