Becoming a KLW Member

For those of you who wish to access the addons in our Members library, this is the place to come. KLW Membership is free, and the only basic prerequisite is that you are in good standing with the Train Simulator community.

There is no requirement that you must create any content to become a KLW Member (we welcome creators and users alike), nor do we require any donations. Please note that donating to KLW will not gain you access to the KLW Members' sections. Any donation made with the specific intent of gaining access to the Members' sections will be denied - we do not and will never ask for any direct charge for our addons.

For those of you curious as to why we have this setup in the first place, it is quite simple. As many creators know, piracy (both through ignorance and malicious intent) of addons is all too common in the community. Our system effectively eliminates most of the possibility of this, for our member database allows us to keep track of our members - and in addition, the people holding KLW Membership are above suspicion.

Becoming a member is easy; all we need is the following:

Your full name - that is, first and last.

#2:
A discussion forum nickname/username from one of the forums listed below (Train-Sim.com, Mophouse, 3DTrains, Badlands, MLT, UKTrainSim, Auran Trainz forums). Membership at the KLW forums does not apply.

Please do not send us your file library login information for Train-Sim.com, and above all, NEVER send us your access password to any forum or website.

We do request that your account have a reasonable amount of posts to your name. Please do not create any forum accounts for the express purposes of signing up to KLW. That said, if you do not have an account at any of these forums, let us know if you've ever done any creation or such for the simulator - anything.

#3:
Your primary email address. No aliases please, for we will not grant permission to anyone attempting to mask their identity.

That is it, but feel free to tell us about yourself in your request, if you wish; particularly if you have few public forum posts.

All this said, it is unlikely that you will be turned down - all individuals who have shown themselves (either through their posts or bio) to be honest and upstanding members of the MSTS community will be gladly accepted.

Please remember - all fields below are required. If your form is incomplete or incorrect, we will not be able to reply. A good number of membership requests are recieved each week, and unfortunately, we do not have enough time to resolve any of these incomplete submissions.

Requests may take anywhere from a day to a month to be approved - please realize that I do not have as much free time as I once did, and KLW is, quite frankly, not a high priority in the grand scheme of life. I'm sorry, but that is the way it is.
