The Headbadge: Appraisal Services
As our many emails have shown that there is a significant demand for valuations of vintage steeds, The Headbadge now offers the Vintage Appraisal service for all models of classic bicycles dating from the 1930's through the 1980's.
Our appraisal service is based on the culmination of recent sales, desirability, condition, and collectability of your bicycle, plus the knowledge of our resident vintage bicycle expert, the webmaster of The Headbadge; owner of the machines listed in our Collection list and restoration expert.
If you wish to take advantage of our appraisal services, please fill out the form below and send it to us with your email address. Provided all the fields below are filled and contain accurate data (and most importantly, that links to clear, detailed pictures are included), we will evaluate your bicycle within 72 hours based on our expertise and data.
Once our report has been completed, we will send you an invoice via PayPal. Once your payment has cleared, we will send an additional email to the address you specify below, containing our evaluation and estimated valuation of your vintage bicycle.
If for some reason we cannot accurately appraise your bicycle, we will send you an email notifying you of such and no invoice will be sent.
Please note that any bikes of unknown manufacture are exceedingly difficult to evaluate, due to the fact that no comparative subjects are available to gauge present desirability. In some cases, we may be able to identify these bicycles; in other cases, not.
Schwinn Paramounts may have reports of provinance (signed by Richard Schwinn) purchased as well - please inquire.
